Never got this card switched out but the card is now dyeing. What would you recommend at this time. prefer NVIDIA. Thanks
 
Assuming the same budget, the best deal is easily this R9 280 3GB for $220 AR.

If you need Nvidia, then the GTX 760 2GB at $240 AR is your best bet. The GTX 760 is slightly slower, has less VRAM (less longevity), comes with two fewer games, and of course costs more.
