Upgrade a good deal !

i have one rigth now, not a problem since i got it one year ago, my 3000+ works at 2400mhz without stability problems. its running 2 sticks of doble side ram very dificult in many 754 mb
 
I dont see the point, since you didn't specify what you do with the computer.... Gaming? Your stuck with AGP. Regular apps? Thats almost all HD performance anyway.
 
In comparison with your system yes, this is lot better system especially at that price. Will it be decent enough for a mid level system? I think so.
 
Memory will be fine until you start to OC 'extremely'. Your unbranded should OC to a decent level imo. People spend loads on ram because they can OC 'extremely' and push out the extra few 100MHz.

Some like the knowledge of more 'quality' ram.

If it works and runs at the required speed what difference would better quality ram make. I here comments about better quality ram running faster but how is this possible, or is it only when overclocking. Cheers.
