Upgrade a Compaq 4770?

Listen, before you flame me, I know this is an old POS. But, I'm building my new PC, my current PIII is going to my older kid and I have a Compaq Presario 4770 that I'm going to make as good as possible to give to the youngest. I have the crucial ram on order to take it up to the max of 84MB! I have a spare 20GB drive, so she can go nuts with Kazaa. I have a nic so she's on the home LAN and cable internet.

The one thing I'd be willing to put some small amount of money in is the CPU. It's a 200mhz (mmx, remember that?); does anyone know if I can put a PIII something or other in there? I'm trying to research what the heck is inside, but I'm affraid the motherboard is a bit of a mystery to me at the moment.

Thanks

just about every 47XX series self destructs if you put a HDD over 4 gigs in it, you may get away with using maxblast type overlay software

This was from the BIOS on the HDD erra

200MMX was the top speed, no P3 for you

Thanks. I just decided I'd get a "barebones" system for $300 and put the rest together. The memory alone was going to be $75. I think I'll give the Presario to a local charity.
