It should work fine but it will run at the clocks of the slowest card(OC)?
2 Titans will be very fast.

Why not sell the titan while it's still hot (warm?) and grab dual 780 (ti)? Be sure ro OC your CPU to minimize bottlenecking

are you sure? Becouse they have different cores the black 2880 cores old one have 2688 cores so its not just clocks speed

According to this post it will not work. http://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2121820

yes thats what i told the guy at the store they have different cores but he insist that it will work

That was my first tought but i read that the 3GB on the 780ti is not enough for 4k gaming and future games thats holding me for now from getting the ti But it still an option

Titan black will not sli with an original Titan. Best bet is to try to snag a used Titan in the classifieds. Probably can get one for about $600

I would try to find a used titan for SLI, as mentioned. Keep looking, good luck.

Getting a used Titan at $600 is going to be difficult. The lowest you might be able to get one for is around $700. That is unless someone really wants to offload one quickly for $600.

How about selling yours and getting a pair of 780 6gigs when they are available? That would cost less.

iam starting to think about it sell mine and get one of this :
1 - buy tow 780 ti coast
2- buy one titan black and get another one down the road
3- wait for the 780 6GB and get tow when its released
4- wait for the new 880

If you are going to sell yours, don't wait too long. Value is pretty good now. It won't stay that way forever, though.

Nvidia does tend to be uptight about what can SLI with what. I cant help but question if it would even allow you to SLI. If the shop offers returns for cash and not store credit then I cant see why not. However, you may be far better off with just getting another titan seeing how the titan black would throttle down and save a couple bucks.
