My PIII mobo is crapping-out, so methinks it is time to sell my CPU and upgrade. I think AMD cpu's have a better future (for me cause they are cheaper and P4 is intel's only future) so I am gonna get a KT7A-RAID mobo. I'll probably get a 750 Tbird (maybe pretested) and I have a nice PEP66 that I am gonna modify for socket A. All set? I don't know.
I have an Enlight 7237OM3 (kickass case, btw) with the factory 250watt PS. I think it is 2.01 ATX. the question is: Do I need to upgrade my PS? I'll probably be clocking it to 1Ghz or so hopefully. I have one HD (might want a second for RAID in future), CDRW, CDROM (DVD someday), 2 case fans, PEP66, GForce 256 (GF2MX w/ twinview soon), and Santa Cruz sound. Will my PS run all of this or do I need a 300W or higher?
