Ok, I have a few questions here.
I will most likely get a Geforce 3 Ti 200 over a 500. But I still have quiet a bunch of money left to updrade.
The problem with my comp is that it's an Hewlett Packard Pavilion, and I would like to updrade. Processor, video card and mainboard (maybe).
Right now, I have a
Pentium 3 850 Mhz
256 MBRam
1) If anyone has any experience with those HP's, ccould I updrade to 1.4 or 1.7 Ghz and still get a huge performance boost? Or not because the rest of my comp is not build for high speed?
2) Athlon or Pentium? I really want the best Performance possible for the least amount of money. How much would a good one (at least 1.4 Ghz) cost on the average?
3) Mainboard, what exactly is that? What is a good one/how much would it cost/and by how much does it increase performance?
Also, is there any way to see if my system can be upgraded? I'm not even sure if I can insert a new video card. Is there any free prgram that shows you this kind of info?
Thanks for any help
