Updating Win98 to Win98-SE

I'd say it's a safer bet to upgrade something from outside the last century... perhaps Windows 2000 or XP?

yes it can, but if your machine can handle it (300+ p2, 256 or more ram) go to XP it is a signifcant upgrade in terms of stability and with sp2 security.
