Updating to Win7

I'm currently running XP Pro. I'll be doing a new build soon and wondered if my old games (Starcraft, Tachyon, Wing Commander series, Darkstar One,etc.) will play on Win7 32 or 64?

Actually your best recourse is to check the support pages of the specific Games that you have interest in.

Or search for terms like Starcraft, win 7 support.

While there are no guarantees, I've found that Win7-64 with DX11 is the same if not more compatible with older titles than XP was. I have games that would under no circumstances work properly under XP, and yet are fine in 7.

Which Wing Commander are you going to be playing? I haven't had much luck with Prophecy under XP or 7. If its not glide issues its other things. 🙁
