updating to 2k?

excuse me if it is pure nonesense, but i don't know.
can you "upgrade" (i mean, without de-installing me before) me to 2k in any way (not losing applications, that is).
 
you can upgrade form me to win2k. the applications whould all still owrk but i guess nothing is ever guaranteed. put the 2k cd in and choose upgrade.
 
if by double booting you mean having a dual boot system then what you do is install the other OS on the pc and then put in the win2k cdrom and choose to do a clean installation. i would recomend installing win2k into another partition on the hard drive and then win2k will do the rest.
