Updating my gaming rig

My current SSD (Crucial 256GB) doesn't give me enough headroom to install many/any games, so I'm thinking something a little larger. That got me tumbling down the rabbit hole of a more thorough computer upgrade.

I have a 1070 GTX vidcard, Seagate 650W PSU that's less than a year old, a Samsung 1TB HDD, and a Fractal R4 case. I'll be upgrading the CPU, mobo, RAM, and SSD. I _think_ I've got a solid build going, but any feedback/suggestions are welcome!

Honestly, looks fairly OK to me. Someone else might have some optimizations for you though.

I've been more in the Ryzen camp for the last two years of my upgrade cycles, so I'm not quite as familiar with Intel / Z390 boards.

Edit: I don't see anything that would be obviously incompatible, if that's what you're wondering.

Looks like a good build to me. Just with all the talk of next years chiplets from team red will you be happy with your purchase in a years time?

I think so. The waiting game is unwinnable, so once I get the itch, I tend to pull the trigger pretty quickly, unless something is absolutely imminent.

Thanks for the feedback!
