As the title says, I'd like to update my PC to handle VR, thinking the HTC Vive.

1. What YOUR PC will be used for.
VR, PC games, browsing, some light video and image editing

2. What YOUR budget is.
around $500 max though as always, if I can save more that would be best

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
USA, usually newegg

5. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc.
Intel is my preference

6. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
SSD and the 1 TB HDD
Seasonic 620 W PSU
Antec Case
EVGA GTX 1060 6 GB
monitor, kb, mouse, monitor

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
Not really into overclocking

8. What resolution, not monitor size, will you be using?
1080p

9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
This week to the next

10. Do you need to purchase any software to go with the system, such as Windows or Blu Ray playback software?
Have Win 10 in SSD already

So picked out a few things. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/8qMYcc
Thoughts?
There's also the argument that without overclocking you should get hyper-threading. Do you consider high speed RAM to be overclocking?
