Updating BIOS through windows bios utility software

I've never updated my bios before and was thinking of updating through the @BIOS windows software from Gigabyte.

How reliable are these softwares. I don't want to update manually.

Works very reliably for me. Of course, shut down any overclocking before attempting.

And download the bios file and unzip it before updating.

I like bios updating thru windows.

I would never use any windows based application to update the BIOS, but at least the Gigabyte boards usually have a backup BIOS just in case it craps out!
