updating bios soyo k7vempro

Good afternoon everyone. I built my first system recently. I used the byo from Fry's and it uses a Soyo mb with a Duron 950mhz. I loaded Win2k and running it at 100mhz. There is an updated bios so I can run it on 133 mhz but I am having a hard time updating the bios. I try to boot up with the floppy disk inserted but it says it can't see the ntloader. Please help, the more detailed the better since I am a newbie to computers but having a blast learning. Thanks in advance and hope to hear from you.
