Hey guys, I've never upgraded my bios, but I want to now that I have my kick ass setup running like a God. I've never flashed them, so I don't really know what to do, I haven't even read up on it yet. If you guys could give me some instructions and tips, I'd really appreciate it. Now i'm off to the asus webpage to see what kinda stuff i can find :)

Thanks!

create a bootable floppy disk, go to asus's web page and download the new bios you want, and download the flashing utility "aflash.exe" put both of them on the disk,

then reboot your pc with the floppy in, when you get to the a: prompt type in AFLASH
that starts the program, then it gives you options to save your current bios (not a bad idea)
then you can flash to the new one, you have to type in the name of the bios file. so after you download it you might want to rename it something easy.

Read the manual or webpages :p It ain't rocket science.

I highly recommend the floppy flashing technique and not the Windows flasher. Make sure you use the flashing program's backup current bios. Make sure you DO NOT REBOOT THE SYSTEM while you are flashing.

Aside from that, welcome to the A7V133 family.

If it is running that good don't flash, I don't care how many times you do it they will be a time that it screws up, I know I have a post and no body can answer it, Flash only when you have a problem or they come out with a fix you need,
