I was told that after I install window 98se that I need to update everything using microsoft update and save them to a cd using another computer. I went to microsoft update and did a search for windows 98se updates and found this page:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows98/downloads/corporate.asp

Do i need to save all of those to a cd and install them that way?

Or connecting to internet now would be bad, right since it is a fresh install of 98se and it had a lot of problems. But as soon as I connect I would do the up dates.

whats the easiest way to go about updating all of this??

thanks

hook it up behind a hardware firewall, then install the updates from the web. Also, you could load up your antivirus software first and then manually update the antivirus offline.
