I just completed a build with this motherboard and was wondering if I need to download the most recent drivers and updates from Intel. Is there a potential that a download will do more harm than good, since things seem to be working fine now? Should any of the downloads be avoided? I am not overclocking or gaming at this time.

Sorry if this is a dumb question. Thanks for your advice.
 
I updated the bios and disabled the raid on the Marvel controller to get rid of the annoying " no drives found" page on startup.
