Yeah those smilies are not from that era ,it is 1 of many threads that I saved in Summer 2000.........thinking about it I could probably replace all those smilies with the right ones

Btw I've always prefered the older smilies too ,look friendlier

This is making me feel young...however I'm a kinda relative old-timer too, being here since Nov 2000, but dasm, i feel young in these projects! Great to see how far we've all come, and the computers! From doing 10 WUs/day with like 10 machines, to getting 10 WUs/day from just 1 not even high-end machine now!

Mark, if you do find the thread when I joined (my name would have still been ConfusedBW back then), then I'd appreciate it

I believe you found one of the few RC5 threads in which I didn't post.

Looking at the date, I was probably in Kansas City at the time with no access to a computer, going crazy not being able to check my RC5 stats.

Lot's of great names in that thread too, TheMagicMan, Thunder, etc..

I joined Seti with my ConfusedBW account on 17 December 2000. I believe it wasn't too long after that I joined TA.

OK, looking at Soni's stats (why didn't I think of that before ) it says I joined TA on 22/02/2001 And I joined TA when I had 3 WUs completed. Oh, memories

MisterM was my racing buddy for about the 1st 3months of me being in TA ,he was around the forums for a long time after that too.
He went to uni & was around far less ,then latter 'black October' (2001) hit TA (re mods vs members ,whole mass of members leaving,most coming back,you'll remember that).I spoke to him over ICQ shortly after that & he said he wasn't very happy with the TA mods anyway ,since then I think he's only posted twice.I know at the time he was hanging around the TLC forums alot ,I tried to contact him over ICQ a few months back & no repsonse.
Think I'd better track him down before we loose him!.Btw I don't see him on ICQ anymore either.

Poolman was active around here for a while & then went quiet ,he left us late summer last year (roughly) & then rejoined us about a month latter.He posted at his welcome thread(!) & I havent seen him since.

Thanx, Assim1! It looks like I joined the week of Jan. 2000 that HB had to rewrite his stats scripts.
