My work is auctioning off this behemoth, and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this particular projector, or knows how good movies would look projected at 640 x 480. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm considering spending up to $200 for it.

Edit: I just scored the projector for nearly free! There was no interest from anyone else in the company, so I was able to purchase it for $1. :):):):):)

The first one I've actually owned, yes. I have had a habit of bringing home work's projectors when I have a weekend full of movies planned. This would be a first. I checked out the bidding, and it is currently set at $105 (CDN dollar), and only two bids. Since I work in the IT department, I should be able to check this out and win the auction without too much difficulty.

I've found a couple of other reviews, and there was nothing bad to say. I laughed at the MRSP of $8995 USD ... but it was 10 years ago it was manufactured. Pretty new bulb in it though.

Do you know how good movies will look in 640 x 480?

640x480 is what tv is at, so just picture how it looks when you watch a movie on tv.

Sweet, I can handle an 80" TV in my living room, even if the projector is the size of a suitcase!
