You don't see 1500 pages of legal gibberish as hiding it? Do you really think "normal" people will be able to read it all, let alone understand what all the legalese is?
Ah, Another lie. Since your previous statement was a lie, now revealed, you're pretending that what you REALLY meant was that it's the LEGAL language that constitutes hiding. Have we got that one right?

Except that EVERY piece of legislation is written in legalese, you fraud. But since you want to pretend otherwise, Please reveal to us ANY major piece of legislation from that past 50 years that was NOT filled with legalese. Come one. Show us.

Or do you have another lie ready for us.

"lie"? Are you trying to compete with harvey and mcowen now?

Uh do you have a point with your post? Ofcourse they are all written that way but what you and the rest of the BHO nutlickers don't seem to understand is that when you have such a big pile of it - people aren't going to read it - and even if they wanted to it's so big you get lost in the mess.
Do you and the other lappers really think this bill has to be this big? Do you really think it even comes close to achieving what the bill's stated goals are? If so, why shouldn't/couldn't it be broken down into individual pieces to shed more light on the changes? If not - why are you trying to defend this monstrosity?

So we're supposed to feel sorry for you because you're too stupid and/or lazy to read the bill? Awwwww, poor lil' Caddy, there there. <Pat pat> Did the big bad bill full o' big old bad words scare you? It'll be all right. Here's your banky and your wooby, you just go right to sleep.

Feel better now? :D

You care to answer the question, or are you just going to continue to troll like shira?

Why bother? The entire premise of this thread, much like most of PJabber's retarded blog posts, aren't worth the pixels they're written with.

So there's a lot of pages? So the F what? Why don't YOU answer THAT question.

As I've said, it isn't the number of pages in itself, but if those who made the legislation and will vote on it fully understand it and it's impact on health care. They simply aren't qualified. To make a bunch of laws, sure, but that doesn't make for good legislation.

I already addressed it, now quit dodging and attempt to answer the questions. Oh, and why did you bother to post in the thread at all if it isn't worth anything... ;)

Oooooo. No tort reform. Which was estimated to provide savings of ONE HALF OF ONE PERCENT of the entire HC budget. Showstopper. Great point.
That's OK... Health Insurance Company profits and the salaries of their CEOs only comprised a total of 0.374% of the 2008 HC expenditures, but that didn't stop the supporters from demonizing both and making it a major selling point for the reform.

The irony, of course, is that the proposed solution will now end up boosting both through the forced purchase of private health coverage. Woops!

I'd laugh if it wasn't my own country doing this...

Huh, if Row V. Wade ruled abortion was illegal because it was an invasion of privacy, I wonder what the supreme court will rule on a government option when the inevitable court challenges show up in the legal system.
