Updated: to reflect the new price of 189.99 at Outpost and Bayarea Fry's

Searched and didn't find.
Seagate 500 GB PATA drive 8 MB cache for 219.99 plus shipping at Outpost or at Bayarea Fry's. Deal is probably good at Fry's in other areas, so post please if it's available. I know it's not <$.30 a GB but it's still the cheapest price, period. Don't post you can get two, 250 GB for xx.xx. That's not helpful for someone that needs a 500GB drive. This is supposed to be a 7200.9 drive AFAIK.
SKU# is 4697778
Seagate drive at Outpost

I don't think the 500GB drives have been around more than 5-6 months. I am not sure how much reliability can be stated in such a short amount of time, unless they were crapping out early in which case we probably would be hearing about it here or on another tech site.

Sorry all I could find were SATA reviews, but the series models are the same 7200.9 as the one in this thread.
