* - yea the ram can run at 200mhz but I prefer the ram & Cpu fsb being Sync'ed
** - I'm too wussy to even consider OC'ing my video (at least while I have a low cash flow 🙂 )
 
it would also be nice to add the current idle/load temps of the cpu 🙂

also, might wanna check asus pcprobe on the actual vcore....asus tends to overvolt most, if not all, of the time

its probably around 1.85v actual

(that is, unless you know that asus overvolts and really have it set to about 1.75v in bios and that 1.8v is actual)

you can probably oc the ram on the 9700 atleast a bit if you want 🙂
 
Up to 12.5x190mhz = 2.375ghz

With that got 3dMark up to 16119 🙂

I'm not sure about the temps.

In the Bios it says 26*C for the Sys, 38*C for the Cpu after a initial start up.
28*C for the Sys, 44*C for the Cpu after rebooting during a hard use session.

With Asus Probe I get 21*C/30*C idle / 22*C/33*C during load.

So my guessing is that it's actually somewhere in between 🙂

Looks to me like 190mhz is the limit I can get too 🙁 Any higher and 3dMark won't even run.
 
Ran it & looped 3dmark for 1 hour and it did just fine.

Was about to do a longer test here in the next 20 minutes or so.
 
Hey Valnir, have you ever tried running Sandra on 'High (stress)' for the CPU and Memory?
If so, does it lock up your mouse?

I have the Asus A7N8X Deluxe with 2x256mb Corsair XMS PC3200, Athlon XP 2600+

Without unlocking, and using the Bios 1001G, I was able to keep it stable at 12.5(default)x185mhz at 1.85V with memory settings at 4/2/2/2T at default 2.6V
But since I flashed the BIOS to 1001c, I can't do it anymore! Now, Windows XP locks up when I try to boot with 185mhz

Did you do anything else besides adjust the BIOS? Drivers/other programs?

What could be wrong with mine?
 
Well it doesn't lock up completely, but does lag quite a bit. Course that's probably because the test is taking so much of the Cpu.

Only other things I did, besides play with the multiplier & voltage, was disable some of the things on the board I'm not going to use. The Audio, the 3com Network, the Serial Ata (though this was a jumper). But no, nothing special in the drivers besides updating them all to the newest versions and updating Win Xp as well.

I did have a problem with the nForce drivers that forced me to remove them and install them again. I was having major problems when I installed the IDE SW drivers that nForce drivers asked me to install. 2nd time around I told it not to install them and then my system started working fine again.
 
Damn, your results are gonna force me to buy Corsair TwinX 🙁

Are you running those timings with your mem freq. in SYNC with the FSB? Ugh, I wish I could do that, right now I'm at a higher multi and 174, cas 2.5-3-3-7. I was relatively stable up to 187, but I couldn't run Prime for more than 6 hours. Anyways, did you get the TwinX or just 2x512MB sticks and how much if you don't mind me asking 🙂

As for the SW drivers, yah I don't think they are compatible atm with the A7N8X. If you're not already, use the 1.16 drivers from Asus' site. Disabling onboard stuff you aren't using is always a good idea. Frees up system resources and IRQs and prevents any hardware conflicts as well.
