This card is not based on nvidia's reference design . Palit makes top quality products and this card has 3-phase power design(as opposed to the generally used 2-phase) which ensures cleaner and stable power suply which improves overclocking and reduces temperature.

NOTE : A common misconception about PALIT is that u have to ship to Hong Kong for RMA which is totally untrue. Their RMA Centre is in Indiana for USA.

I got my $40 rebate, this week, from the first time this came around.

card is great, but I still have the random audio pops over the hdmi connection problem, even with the new "official" vista driver when I hook it to the 52" samsung hdtv as the monitor over hdmi.

There are some issues with the DisplayPort since it's very new. Hopefully they will fix it since I do want more DisplayPort and less DVI. :) Does anyone know if it pass audio through HDMI or does it use the optical out?

Edit: Still no work on the coupon code yet.

Weren't most of the 9600gt deals about $30 less a month or so ago, end of April? Around $100 to $110 shipped?

this is better than that card with AA. 9600Gt leads slightly without AA, but with AA lead becomes bigger. and this is only like 10% less than 8800GT without overclocking. And it runs cooler and overclocks better due to palit's design.

with so many outputs, does this card support 3 or 4 displays? Or is it limited to dual monitor support like most gfx cards?
