I'm updated my drivers to Nvidia's latest (official, with modded inf for mobile cards), and now my resolution will randomly reset.
I have my laptop hooked up to a 22" monitor (1680x1050), and occasionally I'll take the laptop somewhere and use its screen (17", 1440x900). Here are the cases where it MIGHT reset the resolution:
1. Turning on computer
2. Plugging in monitor
3. Resuming computer from sleep or logging on
4. While the monitor is plugged in, shutting my laptops screen (I leave it open when I turn it on because I'm lazy)
Now, this is random. It doesn't always happen. What's the deal? These are supposed to be great drivers...yet they cause this...? Is there some sort of fix?
Oh, and they sometimes have a hard time auto-detecting when my monitor is plugged in.
