I have a MS Force Feedback 2 joystick and I'm running Windows XP. Just today the twist function started acting up. Twist to the right works fine, twist to the left works ok until nearing the rotation limit. Then the in-game action becomes full RIGHT twist. This is true both in BF1942 and in the Sidewinder softwarre test page. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, same problem. Any ideas besides trying to get a replacement?
update--kind of a hassle since I had to fax in a photocopy of the underside of the joystick, but end result is that in about 10 days I got a new joystick from MS. They even shipped 2nd day air, and I didn't have to return the defective one so I essentially have a spare w/o the twist function. Pretty good service!
