**Updated a posts down, no updates in first post because only a couple of people tried to help, you other guys suck!**

I interview with a firm Tuesday. I don't need help with any company specific questions, technical questions, or general questions to ask them. I just need help preparing for the questions they might ask me. There will be no brain teasers.
Here is the list of questions I think they may ask. This is only scheduled to be a 25 minute interview.

1. Strengths / Weaknesses.
What do you guys say for Strengths? I have the weakness part covered.

2. If you are hired what will you bring that will benefit this company?
No clue how to answer this one.

3. Describe a time when you lead a team.

4. Describe a time when your team sucked and you fixed it.

5. Describe a time when you fixed a problem.

6. Describe a time when you succeeded.

7. What role(s) do you normally play in a team?

8. How do you make a decision on a team?

9. How do you convince people on a team to agree with your point of view.

10. Describe a situation in which you were given short notice to complete a project and

11.how did you deal with that situtation.

12. How do you deal with stress.

13. Describe a time you broke the rules to get something done.

14. where do you see yourself in 5 years.

15. How do you handle solving problems you have little or no knowledge of? What if there isn't someone available to immediately help you?

16. How do you deal with coworkers (team members) that are consistentally not living up to your expectations of their portion of the work?

17. You have several tasks you are already working on, another task that only you can do comes down but now you can't possibly finish them all, what do you do?

Any other questions I should expect to be asked?

If you just graduated or are still in school you can probably expect a question on what is you best/worst class and why. Other common questions (that I've heard) are:

What role(s) do you normally play in a team?
How do you make a decision on a team?
How do you convince people on a team to agree with your point of view.
Describe a situation in which you were given short notice to complete a project and how did you deal with that situtation.
How do you deal with stress.

I know of some more, but I can't really remember them right now. I'll post it as it comes to me.

Here's some more I'ved heard or used:

Describe a time you broke the rules to get something done.

Of all the other positions availabe why this one? (only works if you are applying to a particular job out of many postings)

Describe your dream job.

How do you handle solving problems you have little or no knowledge of? What if there isn't someone available to immediately help you?

How do you deal with coworkers (team members) that are consistentally not living up to your expectations of their portion of the work?

Describe some times your boss/professor critized your work and how you handled it.

What would your boss/professor tell us is your greatest weakness?

How do others perceive you/your work?

If your immediate supervisor is not performing as you think he/she should what would you do?

You have several tasks you are already working on, another task that only you can do comes down but now you can't possibly finish them all, what do you do?

If you could change something at your current job what would it be?

Have you ever been in a turkish prison?

I would say it's important to answer all of their questions and be thorough but don't go over the top. For example many companie's ask questions like "Tell me about a time you had a conflict with a co-worker". They don't want you to say "I've never had a conflict because I get along with everyone", you should say something like "There was one time where a co-worker and I had different views of how we should go about working on a project and he got upset with me because he thought I was just blowing off his ideas, but after I calmly explained to him the pros and cons of each of our ideas he could see that his idea wasn't the best fit for this particular project" And then go on how you think good solid communication is very important because most conflicts stem from a lack of good communication. A lot of companies use scenario based questions such as these and they like hearing responses such as these and are wanting to make sure you have good people/communication skills and will be a good fit for the team.

Tell me about a time when you've had to work with someone you didn't get along with. How did you overcome that?

Tell me about a time when you were in a group and someone wasn't pulling their weight. What did you do?

Tell me about a time when you made a quick decision and later regretted it.

(I have to stop there because I interview people quite a bit and I don't want to give up ALL of our questions)

it only lasted like 15 minutes even though it was scheduled for 1/2 hour. the interviewers said that they though I did well. atleast 2/4 of them liked me. there was one who didn't talk much.

they started off with
1. Tell me about yourself

then we went to

2. strengths / weaknesses

3. example of leadership

4. what I'm looking for in a job

5. what I expect from a company that employs me

6. company loyalty

7. questions for them
I feel kinda bad I only asked 2 questions here. I couldn't think of any more since the organization was so big and I'm just being sent out into a spot where they think I'll fit best.
