here's the culprit.... Hilton No-Show...

GFG Hilton. I made reservations at the end of April, canceled in August and somehow you guys missed it? I just wish I actually had email from before september or I might actually have a cancelation number to prove you otherwise....

I wonder if I have any chance of convincing them to reverse it... after all... there were only 4 people with my EXACT NAME staying at that hotel that night. Mabye they canceled the wrong guy? I've known for months that I couldn't go on this...

Already did. 1800 Hilton told me where to put it, that I never canceled and that there were only 4 people with my EXACT NAME staying that night, leading me to believe that mabye they canceled the wrong guy. They told me they filed a complaint for me with the hilton in question and that they'd get back to me in 3 days or sooner- if not, call back and the charge will be reversed.

I do. I just email myself the confirmation numbers now, and with the storage of gmail, it's easy. If i'm not at a computer, i write it down, and then email myself later.

I don't. I don't write down crap, even when I know I should. I'd probably just lose what I wrote anyway.
