You have my sympathy. Just remember, he did the best he could do with what he had to work with. That helped me with my parents. My dad was abusive both physically and mentally. My daughter is 8 and never been hit by me. I never call her stupid and I dont talk down to her. My dad taught me that by doing the opposite.

Your father was a great man! My mom works at a hospital, and she tells me how so many people selfishly want to be burried with their organs. His legacy will live on in the peoples lives that he saved with his organ donations!

my sympathies. i was informed last night my boss i worked for 3 months ago passed away. it reminds us to live life to the fullest. kudos for donating organs...i myself signed my card.

Eli - Yes it does sound funny, but it's the truth... people are selfish enough that they don't want to help others, even when they having nothing to lose (more or less).
