hasn't that thread been around for awhile now?

besides your link doesnt work.
Its not out yet, and when it does come out, voodoopc will probably announce something along those lines, maybe with a Pentium M or Athlon 64, who knows, only sager is showing all its cards before release.

Jebus that is just insane!

I swear I thought it was a stupid idea to put a TV tuner on a laptop, but friggin RAID 0/1 on a laptop too?! That is just an unreal spec, my desktop dosen't even have that kind of specs.

it's basically just a widescreen version of one they already have out. my sager is very similar but no RAID and 3:4 screen.

all that hihg-end crap but still an Audio System
AC?97 2.2 compliant interface... No Creative audio, but then again with all that horsepower i doubt it matters you are doing your decoding in software.

holy crap 8.6 pounds....
plus the battery life sounds as if it will be terrible.

IMO, definitely not the holy mother of notebooks.

downing it because it doesn't have a Creative sound solution?

that is a plus in my book, not a negative.

the screen resolution is pathetic! such a low resolution for such a large screen! my laptop as a 15.4" widescreen with a resolution of 1920x1200!

That depends on your priorities. If you want a snappy desktop replacement machine with excellent video and fast HD, and also don't mind having to always be plugged in, the Sager beats the R50 and T41 hands down. Many people do not need good battery life in a lappy. They never use it where they can't be plugged in.
