can anyone help me with the setup of this router? i can't get the road runner connection to work with the router. the status says 'disconnected'. i can connect to the router through the ip provided when i connect my pc to it. any help would be appreciated. the product specifics are located at:

http://www.speedstream.com/support/2614main.html

i tried to update the firmware, but i am not sure if this was successful or not. i am at work now so i do not have access to the router. thanks in advance.

With Roadrunner, your service is locked to the MAC address of the NIC in the first computer you installed it on. You need to get the MAC address of that NIC and set the router for that. That's usually all that's required to get Roadrunner working with a router...

If you're running a home version of Windows (not 2k/NT), you can find the MAC address by typing "winipcfg" in the Run box (Start -> Run -> "winipcfg").
