FOUND THIS! A MPEG2 version of VirtualDub...

I have been recording MPEG2 to burn to DVD with my new Radeon 9700 Pro AIW, but I need toe dit out commercials and such.

What is a good application that is farely simple to use to do this? I also want to cut out small clips from the videos.

I know there are thousands, I wanna know what you recommend.

TMPGenc or Virtual Dub.

Both are very good and are able to cut, copy, paste, and delete scenes.

vegas video, easy to use
think you need an mpeg2 plugin for it, never used mpeg2 in vegas, only dv and other types

Ok, I am getting this error in VirtualDub with all the stuff I have captured.

Here is the error and the mode I record in.

I am pretty sure it's because I am recording it as MPEG2...

Is there an MPEG2 plugin for VDUB or another application that works with it? I don't wanna have to re-encode it everytime... by I will if I have to.
