Update

Eveything is finally installed.:) No more dial up.;) Plus I got two free movies from On Demand.

[/update]

My girlfriend and I moved into a new place about two weeks ago, and Verizon screwed up the whole DSL thing. So I had to call and order cable.

Well after 2 weeks of waiting and only dial up at home, I am finally getting cable.:)

I can now browse the interent at decent speeds and watch TV. 190 channels (digital cable), 3 premiums, and cable modem. This better be worth the money.

Hopefully your installation windows are better than what Mediacom Cable offers around here.

"Yeh, we'll have a tech out there sometime between.....ohhhhh September and October."

Bah!

Yours Sincerely,

Their screw up was even worse than that. They installed it at the wrong address. I still have not figured out how they did so. They ran the tests on my new phone number, but installed it at the old address which already had DSL installed. They told me I would have to wait until the week of August 10 for a new install to be finished so I said screw it and cancelled all services with them except for basic phone.

D'oh....Idiots! Companies nowadays have to work hard to keep a customers respect...after all...so many alternatives....they do something like that...what do they expect!

My ISP's customer service is pretty lousy but I have a problem so infrequently and speed is really good so I stick with em.
