The following proxies have been updated/added:
  • Windows 95/98/NT/2000 (x86) [318]
See the list at: http://www.distributed.net/download/proxies.html

This version will tell clients v2.8008.459 and before that the OGR contest
is closed. More Proxies will be coming shortly.

I highly suggest upgrading your team pproxies ASAP.

since I'm not doing the ogr contest I'm not sure what to set my buffer levels to my pproxy. I am on the round robin. what limits are suggested?
min?
max?
done?

I don't know the best settings, but I reccomend that you just set the buffers to 1/4 the normal RC5 levels, that should last long enough.:)

I've found that even my fastest machines, such as a dual P3 600, only turn in a few blocks every couple hours. I left my min and max commented out and the pproxy hasn't felt the need to increase it over 50 blocks yet.

This is the best idea I've seen all day.
I am ALARMED at the number of old clients cracking OGR blocks that will be discarded.

Thanx Moose
