heres my wish list:

http://secure.newegg.com/app/WishR.asp?ID=1104582

Ive decided that i dont want the antec case cause even though its better than the one i have selected, its just too ugly lol im sorry but it is ......plus i have a budget which is to keep the pc under 700$ and that must include shipping and tax's (6% in NJ)

I think the case i selected is awesome looking and it sais it has a 400wt power supply and its reviews warent bad at all, plus its gonna be so cool when i tell my friends i have a Rosewell ATX case lol most of them wouldnt know the difference between a really expensive one.

Everyone keeps talking about how important a good case is but i dont see the point besides the power supply, i have a really crappy case right now, and it works fine even its crappy power supply is decent , witha few tweaks my pc runs pretty fast....Also dont see why it has to be as solid as the expensive ones its not like im gonna kick it around or anything or put it in my car......

I know the video card is crappy but the truth is im not a gamer, i just need something that is decent for watching movies and can play certain games i like and 64 MB is enouph , im sure i'll end up buying a better video card after a few months, but i rather buy a cheap one now and have the pc as fast as possible.........

I have windows XP right now, but i want to completly switch over to linux , the prob right now is my pc is way to slow to run mandrake, ive tried a few distrobutions but there not as easy as mandrake........

I really consitrated on the prossesor and motherboard, those are the most important cause those are the ones i usually keep for a long time......I was thinking of going with the new socket , but im not sure , the processor is only 10$ more , but i dont know about a motherboard, the one i have selected now i know is awesome.

I have one question though , is the video card i picked gonna work ok with my motherboard ? its what im worried about the most cause ive had big problems b4 with video cards....

the vid card should work fine- but you wont be able to run that free copy of far cry.

That ATI 7000 is way out of date... WAY OUT!
Get a 9600 NP for $30 more, then buy the Far Cry from someone in the For Sale/Trade forum for about $15-$20 cheaper.
BTW, Even the 9600 will be brought to its knees by Far Cry.

Don't even waste your money on the ATI 7000...

It would be better to cut a small corner somewhere else then to skimp that hard on a GPU
