Those led's have to be connected to the power supply, im pretty sure its just a matter of unplugging a wire.

you prob can if you know what you're doing, maybe someone here who has one can tell you. another option you could just get the x-dreamer, the old version of the x-dreamer 2. the only real difference i could see was that the xd2 had the led lights on the front panel, whereas the xd has chrome 'buttons' instead. the original x-dreamer is still available on newegg.com and it's a little cheaper.

i have the x-dreamer myself, and i'm very happy with it. for 50 bucks i have an incredibly nice looking case and several mods that increase the case utility (temp gauge, blowhole, etc). i'm all about the utility. don't really go for fluff.

actually those connectors for those lights are up in the front behind the thermal display, (it all runs off the same power plug) you will have to just unplug them there. also there should be two plugs one for each side (of 3 lights).

The older version is 46 but... with $10 shipping while the new one was $50 with free shipping (till 12/24 today) so the price would be higher. From this post the only differnces i see is the fan grills. Does this case have a removeable mobo tray. I heard yes and no.

No it doesnt.
I read 2 reviews and one said it does while the other said it doesnt. When my x-dreamer II case came in(damaged grrr) it didnt have a removeable mobo tray.

yes the blue lights turn off- i got the X-dreamer 2 a few months back and that's the first thing i did- unplugged the front 6 super bright lights w/o affecting any of the other features or lights in the case =)

the case is great in my opinion- only flaw is that its REALLY heavy and i like taking my computer around occasionally. the front panels they have for your cdroms and floppy drive are really cool cause they make your whole case match- the psu it comes with is probably crap and i didnt even bother using it though =)
