I've only had the high temps on my x1900xt(x). My x800gto, on the other hand, had 16 pipes unlocked, and flashed with a x800xt bios, and it ran mid 70's with stock cooling, which is perfectly acceptable. Anyway, my vf900 has finally shipped, so maybe I'll post another comparison. Currently with the vf700 the temp reaches 89C when under load for 20 minutes or more.

Well like I said in my other thread, I use the vf700cu and my max load temp is 63c with an xtx. That's also with the 5v fan speed. Guess no two cores are alike =)
