and she had money for breast implants, i can't understand how the husband's parents forgave her...and the daughter is going to sue her for all it's worth...

According to the jury it was a crime of passion, and such crimes don't deserve the death penalty both according to law and according to my opinion. I personally think the punishment given was appropriate.

yep, and yep.

Yeah. I was a tad annoyed when I saw CNN reports saying she'd get out with probation, or only 5 years in jail. This is nuts. I can't believe they were saying the fact it was valentines day, the day they were married, and the same hotel, would excuse her passion behavior. PLEASE. She should've gotten life. Murder is murder, and running over someone at least two, maybe three times. he'd be dead for sure by then.

What is a crime of passion?

It means she didn't plan to kill him, she just decided to do it on the spur of the moment.

Does anyone else think it's a little odd that this article is running on valentine's day?

So a person who decides to kill at the spur of the moment is more dangerous then a person who has it all planned? How? I would consider the first kind extremely dangerous, because you never know what they might do.

Someone with access to a law case database, should check and see how many men committing "passion crime" murders get off with 20 years. Especially when it's something like multiple knife wounds, shots, which would be along the lines of running someone over multiple times. Then I'd like to see what happened when it was just one shot, one knife wound, etc.

And you are in a very small minority who believes that. But thats OK, thanks for sharing.
