Yes, it sounds like you overreacted by calling the police. You said there are alot of kids on that hill. What does that have to do with it? Your an adult right? He propositioned you. Just because the guy was gay doesn't mean he was a child molester.

Again, someone missing the point... That is DEVIANT BEHAVIOR. It is not normal for anyone, regardless of sex/orientation to go around on the street and offer people oral sex! And who is to say he wouldn't attaempt to take money or a limb or who knows what else? Calling the police was the right thing to do as a citizen looking out for other members of the community.

Lots of behaviors can be considered deviant... that doesn't mean they're criminally unlawful. Exactly what can the police officer do?

Exactly. One should only expect that type of behavior in Clubs and Catholic Churches.

If it was a straight male propositioning women would it be a problem?

Would you ever consider letting someone go down on you?

If it were my wife/daughter I would damn well consider it a problem, I don't see how this is any different.

Hey Viper,
You sure he wasn't just offering you that as a birthday present? :D

Happy birthday man. (Saw this in the Eakers b-day thread)

And would it be criminally unlawful if they did?

I would be surprised if it weren't. I'm looking for an exact Oregon statute, but I haven't had the time to do an in depth search (I'm at work).

Hell Greg, I'd not bother arguing about this with ATOT Wankers. You did what you felt was necessary, who cares what Paulie Paleface from Podunk Pennsylvania thinks?

Again, as someone stated above, it is not necessarily against the law(because there was no discussion of money), however it does establish a pattern, and I think it is safe to say there is justification for the police to look a little closer at the guy. If his nose is clean, he would have nothing to worry about. However, I would guess there have been/will be more serious offenses committed. How would you feel if someone did that, and no one reported it, and then the same guy raped someone (or any other violent crime)?

Note to self: don't dye hair and get earring. :p

Let's edit the situation a bit:

Him: Why don't you drive, don't have a car?
Me: <explaination>.
Him: That's so sad, you're such a young girl. How old are you?
Me: I'm 21.
Him: Ahh... Would you ever consider letting someone lick your <!>?
Me: (At this point I'm thinking WTF?) Why are you asking?
Him: 'Cause I might want to.
Me: You're a sick f***.
Him: OK, thank you.

I don't think anyone would have objected to calling the cops in that situation. I think the options for Gregg were 1. beat the guy up or 2. call the cops. 2. was the smarter option. If he keeps bugg(er)ing him, maybe nik can come over and help throw the guy a blanket party.

Is that ffmcobalt with Greg? Damn, he needs to lay off the Cheese Burgers. Maybe he (nik) should change his handle to "Orson"
