changed bus speed to 230 (I can't get past 235 for some reason), firefox smoothscrolling much smoother.

HT link is 1840, and RAMs were running within spec at 800mhz when I tried to go for 237mhz bus. I can get to 237 in BIOS, but 235 locks up during log in.

I tried giving ram +0.2v, Northbridge +0.2, Southbridge +0.2, no good
CPU-NB and CPU voltage both were at known-good-voltages for the speeds.
Turned off C&C.

Don't know what else I can try.

I wouldn't bother with it. These days systems are not memory or bus bottlenecked that much, IMO. For the scrolling speed/smoothness, probably just has to do with current browsers and web pages being bloated. You can always try Chrome. I hear it is snappier.

Try Firefox 4.0 b7 running with the gpu candy on (direct2d etc) and the smoothwheel addon, make sure to turn vsync on. :)
