Update to this thread here..

after waiting a day or two, we took the snowcat down to clear some of the avalanche debris off the road... Here is a pic link

What you don't see is the 800 foot dropoff on the right, that drops down into Lee Vining Canyon... Highway 120 is under there somewhere... 😀
