At her next stop in Manchester, New Hampshire, Moseley-Braun increased her audience by 20-fold! To well, 20!

Update!

?If there is sufficient public response, we will launch a full-scale campaign in early fall,? Moseley-Braun said.

Some of the 20 people attending Moseley-Braun?s talk responded with the type of enthusiasm such a campaign would find helpful.

(PIC) You'd think they would have post-poned for weather...

If Carol Moseley-Braun means what she says about campaigning for president in Iowa one voter at a time, Tom Hanson had all of her attention Saturday.

Hanson was the only soul - besides a dozen members of the local news media and half as many event coordinators - to brave a foot of fresh snow to hear the former U.S. senator from Illinois speak in Des Moines on Saturday afternoon.

Yeah :p It was quite funny seeing the newscasters when they were talking about this on the news. I'd bet they were doing all they could to keep from busting out laughing...at least on Fox ;)

nothing in politics is as it seems...

Braun is running in an effort to minimize Al Sharpton's entry into national democrat politics...

the dems fear sharpton may gain political clout by garnering enough black voter support to get a "seat at the table" with the
democratic bigwigs. the black vote is crucial to democrats to beat the republicans in a national election. sharpton is a democrat "outsider"
and by running Braun as a foil to Sharpton, they hope to keep him off the
national political scene..neither Braun nor sharpton are electable to the presidency (they both know it), but this is about gaining political clout
by becoming the national voice of the Black vote within the democratic party.

"It's a tough show," Hanson told Moseley-Braun of the campaign for Iowa's precinct caucuses. "But there's nobody here who's exciting us," he said of the other Democrats seeking the nomination.

What, does he have a mouse in his pocket?

If true, that's a fine example of how the democrats really treat the minorities they supposedly champion for.

I'm not fond of Sharpton, but he has the right idea. The Dems take the black vote for granted, the Reps ignore the black vote. As long as 90% vote for the Dems no matter what, they wont get anything out of them but lip service
