Just pick my dog up from the vet. He said it could be a one time thing, or a genetic problem, and gave anti biotics for my dog. My dog is much more active and alert now, and is also drinking and eating fine. I gotta go back in a few days to get another blood count to make sure his antibiotics are working fine.

Thats great to hear man.

Hope he gets better. I just heard the saddest story today: A lady I know told me her dog had learned to open her car door by himself. He would open the door, jump in, and lay on the seats. It wasn't a car they drove everyday, so it sat unused in their yard a lot. Anyway, one morning a few weeks ago the lady and her family went to church. When they came home, they couldn't find the dog anywhere. Then she went to get something out of the car. . . Apparently the dog had gotten into the car. The car was parked on an incline, so the door closed behind him when he jumped in. Then he couldn't figure out how to open the door from the inside. He sat in the car for a few hours in the south Georgia heat, and died of heatstoke 🙁 🙁 🙁 She said the insides of the doors were scratched up from him trying to get out.

The family had just lost another dog 2 weeks earlier when its kidneys stopped functioning. 🙁

UPDATE 2
Just talked with the vet. He said after further blood test, it seems its not his liver. They said his red cells are exploding, which they have stopped with steroids. The doctor said this is much less severe than a liver problem. Saying a prayer every now and then pays off.

Yay!

Hope he gets all better
