UPDATE: Shawn J White and Cyberwings

I also posted this in the appropriate 12 yr old cyberwings thread, but thought I should post it here also.

The news I have is that I thought maybe you all would be interested in knowing that Shawn J. White has resurfaced with a new business! He is running a prepaid cellular dealership online. He currently represents PagePlus cellular with a dealership called Kitty Wireless and is also going out on his own as Puppy wireless. He is masquerading as a female called "Kitty". All The legal documents are easily found online that shows his ownership of this business. He has a forum for his customers called kittyforums.net. The dealer website is kittywireless.com.

His MO is the same as it reads here with his cyberwings debacle. He has his devoted followers and has now taken to tight censorship of his forum to prevent his detractors from further exposing him for the person that he is.

Unfortunately, he still has a boatload of customers who do not realize who they are dealing with. I've read the 1500 post long thread here and the many other threads about his cyberwings scam and I have followed him in his cellular business and it is alarmingly similar. Same deception, same lies. It's just that the crap hasn't hit the fan YET.........

Haha. I fled to Dixiesys, too (and that other, really cheap webhosting with a simple name, e-rice?). And when Dixiesys went away as well, I went with Hostpc, which has since got bought out but at least still provides me with the same service I got the first time I registered with them (DirectAdmin reseller account. These things are pretty rare now).

Apparently Heback joined here in order to piss all over Kitty Wireless. I'm a former customer of Kitty Wireless (roughly two years) and have nothing but praise for them-fair prices, excellent customer service (USA based as well). Here's my response to OP's earlier screed:

Kitty Wireless has been around for several years at least. I used them for about two years (switched out to go to an ATT system) and was extremely happy with them. Their forums are very active, fun and informative.

However if you go on Howard Forums you will notice a small but very vocal community of cranks that claim Kitty is the devil reincarnate. Apparently our new member Heback is one of the those tinfoil hat people.

Actually, he joined to piss all over Shawn J. White who apparently deserves it. Even you have to admit the Kitty Wireless web site screams scam. I'm glad you aren't one of the people who got ripped off by Shawn J. White.

Because I have an interest in Shawn J White's past and present business dealings and how that may affect those people that are currently doing business with him? He is pretending to be a female named kitty after serving time in a federal prison and you are ok with that deception and dishonesty and are upset with ME for coming here to ask questions about his past? If you were here on this forum back in the cyberwing days or if you read about it here and elsewhere and if you were a kitty wireless customer then without a doubt you are familiar with all the similarities in method of operation. All the promises of things to come that never do come. All the deception about equipment and employees that simply do not exist. Always the big new plans that only maybe 10% materialize. The cheerleaders that form around him on his forums, the ones the praise him on his every word no matter how crazy and silly it is. It was like that back in the cyberwing days and it is the same method of operation with his kitty wireless and puppy wireless operations. The logical conclusion is that it cannot end well again. And besides that it is obvious that the guy is a scammer and just not a good person, regardless of what he convinces you and others of. There is a thread here that is over 1500 posts long about the scammer for pete's sake.

i didn't realize he owned kitty wireless. they're the site most people seem to recommend if you need something for page plus. i'd definitely be more cautious dealing with them now that i know it's owned by the cyberwings guy.
