Hi again.

Thanks to all who replied about my original question (what's the best playstation emulator for the pc?). I did some research as suggested and found out some things. To the best of my knowledge, ePSXe is the most desirable b/c it is free, works with many games, and is continuously getting updated to comply with more games. Bleem! also works, but the bleem team has not worked on any new game compliances in a while --- however, bleem still works with ~300 games! The Connectix VGS is now discontinued in leiu of lawsuits with Sony. Both Bleem and Connectix must be bought. On Ebay and Half.com, they are selling for around 15 bucks.

Anyhow, someone also suggested going out to Walmart & buying a new playstation 1 for ~70 dollars. That sounds reasonable. However, other people have told me that the graphics and sound from playstation emulators far outdistances the visuals and sounds you would experience from a tv-playstation hook-up.

More info is at

(I'm not sure how to make a link. sorry -- new at this.)

Check out the for sale/trade forum, there's a guy selling a psx for $42 with two controllers.
