BUnch of @#$% if you ask me....No mention of the countless stories of more hardline tactics used against Sony, Acer, toshiba, and HP as laid out in AMD original complaint...or that was found to be substantiated enough to win similar lawsuit in japan....

Intel tries to spin this and force it back onto AMD has a company that cannot supply enough chips anyways...like that is an excuse to practice illegal business....did those stupid arse ever stop and think these practices which have been going on for half a decade might be the reason AMD has not had the money to invest into more fabrication??

Probably not cause I am sure everyone there is as incompetent as their cpu designers of the last few years...

I hope they get what is coming to them...

NIce trick at the end trying to say ...wah wah (crying)...but they make their chips in germany so how can they file here???...wah wah...They are headquatered in US you @#$%^ morons...much like you jack-arses make chips in Isreal, Ireland, assemble them in Costa Rica, Phillipines, Malaysia, and China.....At least they didn't run off to a 3rd world country to get cheap labor...@#$%^!!!!

reading the yahoo summary, it looks like intel is playing to the press

"AMD claims that Intel sustains a monopoly that allows it to charge higher prices, but that it does so by lowering prices," the response reads. "This allegation is inherently contradictory. ... AMD's attempt to limit Intel's ability to discount would only serve to raise prices."

a monopoly lowering prices to eliminate compeititors increases prices in the long-term

Wow, what an examplary instance of fan-boyism; this makes some of the AMD fan-boys look like amatures.

If there is even the SLIGHTEST possibilty that the court will not jurisdiction, the defendant will bring it up, simply because its the easiest way to disrupt a suit or even get it thrown out. i'm sure intel was just taking a random shot in the dark

You lost a lot of points with me in that post, Duvie. You are complaining about people posting unsubstantiated claims about CPUs in other threads? How much of the Intel response did you read? I read, or glanced though both the filings from AMD and Intel. I thought much of Intel's response was well thought-out and reasonable.

You think that the mods should take more action against fanboys and you post this? What kind of post do you consider yours to be? A well informed and reasonable response? I had a lot of respect for you posts in the past - heck I even added "Duvie for mod" to my sig for the last week or so. I have removed that.

I'll go back to incompetently designing chips and I'll leave the lot of you to talk about how the "fanboyz" are ruining this board in this and other threads.

I was a bit emotional yes...

However PM (a person with an obvious bias) I have read the AMD complaint and even so far as read reports about it when the case was going on in Japan and the evidence is quite clear.

I really dont care what you think of me.....I never really cared to be mod anyways, it was more of a ploy to show the mods ppl were fed up with inaction....I stated this multiple times.....

If you incompetently design them then go ahead and continue.....At least I will buy Intel if they produce another good chip like the northwood.....You can call me a fanboy because I think INtel is using its position to screw over the little guy and effectively hold its marketshare spot over the last year and a half when they have clearly had the inferior product. heck they were inferior with the Tbirds and XPs...it wasn't until the P4c and HT that they started making ther XP look aged and not good enough......

I think if YOU have read the compaint filed by AMD and saw the rports from CEOs of what had happened to them for being launch partners or selling a certain number of AMD chips is appalling...But ofcourse I wont expect you to condemn your boss, eventhough most Intel owners likely belive all the accusations are spot on.....

I will remove the expletive....still a bunch of $%&^ but I will refrain....billion dollar compmanies can hire the best shiester lawyers...
