Hi all. Here is an update on my pproxy situation.
I was able to recieve blocks but not flush them. I moved my pproxy from my old trusty p-233@266 mmx running 98 to a dual p2-300 running Win2k Server. I figured that all would be a snap and I'd be back up and running in no time.
Win2k was/is a new OS for me so it took me abit to find were everything was. Then I started having troubles connecting to any other computers. I tried everything I could think of so I swapped out the nic card with another that was just like it. That did not solve my problem. So I went to a third Realtek based card but of a different chip type. This one worked better but still couldn't send the blocks nor anything else.
I went to a 2 day LAN party that kind of turned into 3 days away from working on the server. So tonight I put in yet another NIC card and all is well in pproxy LAN. I flushed it thru Jay's 43k worth or so. They should be at mika's by now.
I appologize for the delays. On the upside, I got everything back online tonight and it seems to be working properly.
Thank you for your patients.
