Ok I guess to make a long story short I can't overclock die to some reasons I gather. My clock multiplier is locked at 10.5

I called tech support from the company I bought it from and they told me I have a shine horner 340 watt power supply....I thought it was enermax 350 but I guess I was wrong...I have no clue how good this power supply is?

anyway on my asus probe monitor it says that my vcore is 1.76.....too low?

I managed to tamper with it and get it to boot in at 1460 (total of 60 mhz overclock) and I got an error message saying that my keyboard is not detected......so I had to reboot again and go back into bios and set my fsb back to 133...

maybe the problem lies within my power supply.....and oh yeah I have a Volcano2 cooler and artic silver paste compound...I know the volcano2 sucks but I have motherboard monitor 5 which tells me my board and case temps and I could always set it back to 1400 if temps were too high anyway.....

oh well all I wanted was a 100 mhz overclock the most or even 60 mhz...then again 1400 should do me good..hehe...but yet I have a damn itchy feeling to overclock..maybe I need therapy..lol!!

Here are my system specs.....

AMD 1.4 TBIRd
ASUS A7M-266 (Bios 100.4a)
corsair 256 DDR pc2100
Herc kryo2
Windows 2K service pack 2
herc game teartre XP
microsoft USB internet keyboard pro
optical wheelmouse

VCore nees to be 1.8 or higher. Your PSU is a piece of crap.

You have an awesome system with the exception of that POS power supply. For once, I actually agree w/Tunaboo! :) This is easily remedied. For about $60, you can purchase an Antec P303x 300watt PS. Well-know to successfully power everything short of a 10-drive SCSI server. Get one. It's a direct bolt in if you have a mid or full tower case. Good luck. Don't worry, Many Days of Happy Fragging are but one more CC charge away!
