My KG7 won't clock my Athlon XP 1600+ at a FSB speed of 266 (DDR) MHz. 100MHz works just fine. I tried all the BIOS versions, various memory settings and sticks/configs, all to no avail.
I finally spoke to ABIT, who, perhaps not surprisingly, told me to return the board...."hmmm", you say, "not a very satisfying resolution to this problem".
I agree, but find myself left with little else to turn to in the way of support. This problem has popped up on other systems, some exactly like mine, and I've seen it on a few other forums. Some folks have been able to resolve it, others have not.
As for me, , I think I'll save myself the hours of frustration and buy an ASUS A7V266.
Any comments about the new MoBo??
