Update on my first Newegg experience.

As posted in THIS thread I placed my first order with Newegg.

First there was a problem verifying my ship to address (my fault for not adding the address with my CC company) I got this straightened out with a phone call (17 minutes on hold)

Now all seems to be well and my order is in step 2 of 5 according to the site.

2 cases and 2 video cards are being shipped from CA the rest of my order will be coming from NJ (my home state)

I didn't realize I'd have to pay tax since Newegg has an operation in NJ.

I'll update again with more details.

Maybe I'm a little nervous that I spent over $1800 based solely on the recommendations of the people here?
 
newegg is by far the most reputable computer component online retailer, now stop your worrying and yapping, because noone cares that nothing bad will happen to you!

cool. They used to only ship from CA, but now that they ship from east cost and mid-west it's actually better. Newegg isn't responsible for the tax laws, but you get your stuff faster this way.

 
congrats. i just placed an order late yesterday (iaudio m3 40gb). its already being shipped, tracking # and all. good turnaround, and newegg has not let me down before.
 
If so many people recommended it, there's a reason. Just take a chill pill, relax, and have some gdamn faith in humanity and the company. :beer:
