My wife bought me a nice leather office chair about eighteen months ago. The company is OCM International, model number 891-5947.

The seat plate broken on about two months ago. I called their tech support and they said they ship out a new part and I should get it in about six weeks. After waiting eight weeks for this replacement part I called again today and I was told that they no longer handle that model and gave me a new number to call. I called this new number and all I get is an message that the voice mail is full.

The part that failed has a three year warranty and I don't even care about that I just want to fix my chair. :|

What can I do now?

Update:
Thanks RagingBITCH, I went to OfficeMax today and talked to a manager. He provided me with two other numbers to call. Before trying them I call the original number I was given when I started this thread and someone answered. Within 15 minutes my replacement part has been order and should arrive by Dec. 1st.

WooHoo! :)

OCM International isn't that great of a brand, unfortunately. By seat plate do you mean the metal plate that screws in with 4 screws into the bottom part of the seat? If that's the case what you might want to do since OCM isn't helping you is to take that part with you back to the store (sounds like OfficeMax) and see if they can help you. (They might have a seat plate from a defective chair in the back they could swap out if its similar)

take it back to where you bought it.

I think my chair has a lifetime warranty.

Those lifetime warranties are manufacturer warranties, not store. We sold OCM back at OMAX and unless the person was really nice and the manager was in a really good mood, you'd be damned if you could get a brand new chair as a replacement for a year and half old chair. The plate thing might be doable. If you talk to someone really nice at the store they might swap out a seatplate from a new-in-box chair but that's really pushing it.
