I sent 2 emails to CNN about this. One to their News Tips addy and to the CNN American Morning Show. Hopefully we will be able to get double confirmation of these events.

I'm curious as to the party affiliation, and I am curious (haven't read much on the subject) if any of the candidates have taken a definitive stance on the voter fraud. Either way, regardless of party affiliation voter fraud is despicable and counter to the spirit of our country's founding.

As I said in another thread here in MA a local radio show has begun taking callers who have voted in more than one location, they are reportedly not checking ids to vote.

[shaking head] And some people think civil war is an irrational notion. [/shaking head]

Why is it that only republicans are complaining of voter fraud and only in democratic districts? They really should quit whining. I wonder if they are checking at their own districts.

Calling a radio show does not make it true.

Wisconsin specifically FORBIDS the checking of IDs for registered voters.. So, if you are registered, they cannot ask for proof of who you are. If they challenge your identity, you get asked a series of 6 of so questions which as long as you answer YES to, they HAVE to accept your vote.

Interestingly, the Republicans in Wisconsin have introduced bills to require photo ID to vote.. The democrats in our state congress have either voted it down, or our DEMOCRATIC governor has. Go figure. 😕

OMFG. Disgraceful. The federal gvt needs to prosecute people that are involved in this type of activity with a felony, they deserve over a year in prison if caught.

Voted in Texas, No ID check here. Just gave my Voter Registration card and signed on the dotted line.

Hmmm...everytime me, my friends, or my parents have gone to vote in verona or the east side of madison we have had to display our WI ID with proof of residency, along with all the other people I've seen vote along with me....so i dont know what the deal with this is, I also voted today in whitewater and we had to provide our school ID's and proof of residency

I have never provided any ID to vote. Of course I live in a small precinct and all the poll workers are my neighbors😀

Just had a co worker say when he voted this morning his ID also was not checked....how is that in your book?

You know whats odd about these so called votes? Who were these votes for? Bush needs more votes to come out of Philly than Kerry. If anyone added votes to machines I would be more inclined to believe republicans added them for Bush.

I am all for showing your ID when you vote, why they don't do that already everywhere is beyond me....heck if I have to show it to buy beer or in some cases buy video games then by all means I will be happy to show it when voting.

Lets not be so certain. Until we know for sure idle speculation can make anyone look like an ass. 😉

Ehem, Deomcrat here. This is not a partisan thing this ia about an immoral practice.

One would think it's not a partisan thing, but not everyone seems to agree. For example, in Miss.:

While Mississippi doesn't require ID to vote in state and local elections, starting with the March 9 presidential and congressional primaries, voters will have to show ID to vote in federal elections as part of the federal Help America Vote Act.

Advocates say the Senate legislation would curb voter fraud, while critics say it would only intimidate voters, especially African Americans.

Sen. Willie Simmons, D-Cleveland, who voted against the bill, said he hopes the 122-member House kills the legislation.

"Voter ID is a means of intimidation," Simmons said. "We need to encourage people to vote, not discourage them."

During the debate, Sen. David Jordan, D-Greenwood, said the bill is "rotten from the core. It is evil. It is wrong. ... This is a back door to a poll tax."

These people caught voting in multiple places need to be thrown in prison.

If someone voted more than once why the hell would they call a radio show to talk about it??
